There are many good organizations that could use your time, money and resources in a disaster.  We invite you to donate.

LDS Church Humanitarian Aid Fund: 

The church provides relief through food, clothing and charitable donations to people of all faiths. Donations to the humanitarian fund can be mailed to either address:

Red Cross:

In 2007 they responded to over 77,000 house fires, teach first aid, they contain one half the nations’ blood supply and respond to all major disasters.

Red Crescent:

They contribute to humanitarian relief and disasters around the world.

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief:

In the California fires they prepared over 200,000 meals.  Active in rebuilding New Orleans.

Catholic Church:

The largest private network of social service organizations in the United States works to support families, reduce poverty, and build communities.
